When I was small, I believed that babies were 'fished' out of a local stream....The Snitz Creek!
Since I only learned to swim when I was 12 years old, I was terrible confused as to how I kept from
drowning before my parents 'fished' me out of the Creek!

My mother, thinking she was avoiding the "birds and the bees" discussion, told me that I was born on a chicken farm and that I came with a dozen eggs one day. My hair was very blonde as a child (almost white) and my older brothers said it was left over feathers and that I would out grow them. I believed them until about 2nd grade when other blonde haired kids said it wasn't true.

When I was three or four my mother told me that babies born under cauliflowers and for this reason when I wished to have a sister I didn`t want to eat no more cauliflowers !!!!

Thanks to the lyrics to many hyperbolic love- and sex-related songs, I used to think that the usual or average length of time it took to have sexual intercourse was "all night."
I'd been told that a period was when, once a month, a woman would bleed. Now, I was a fairly laid-back little girl, so this idea didn't bother me much. After all, the only bleeding I'd ever witnessed was from little scrapes and cuts, so naturally, I thought any bleeding would only last a minute or two. I was more than a bit pissed off, then, when my period came along and lasted a full week!

In the 2nd grade a more informed friend tried to tell me about condoms, I insisted she was wrong and they were like an appartment...I was confusing them with condominiums.

My fiancees Mum was mortified when she was pregnant with him and took his older brother shopping - he announced to a crowded shop that his new brother or sister would be coming out of his mummy's magic hole soon = he was referring to her bellybutton!

when i was younger, that babies were born by tearing their way out of the mother's stomach, and everytime my mom was pregnant i always tried to find the scar and there was nothing, it confused me for years.

when I first found out through the playground that people could be gay, I was extremely puzzled and couldnt figure out exactly what they did. I was about 6 at the time and I came up with the idea that men had sex by having 'sword fights' with their penis' !!!!!!

my son who was born by c-section asked me one day how he was born. i explained to him that they cut him out thru my stomach and then they stitched me back up afterwards. he then always wondered how big was that sewing machine.
I would always beg my mother if i could have a little brother or sister, because being the younger child, i wanted to boss someone around. My mother told me that my father could not because he had a bisectamie. Well when i took my cat to get neutered,i realized they were the same thing. So the next night, when we were holding a small get togeather with our friends and family, i sat down and announced that i couldn't have a younger sibling because my father was neutered. My parents were flustered and sent me to my room.

I always thought until a few months ago that 14 was the average age that people lose their virginity.

for some reason, i used to get really really angry when my friend kept trying to convince me that babies gave from a child factory (told so by her mom). I didn't know how they were really made, but i was positive it was physical since animals and cave men and plants all reproduced, and they had only their bodies. I used to nearly cry in frustration trying to convince her that she was wrong and wondering how she could be so stupid.
I used to believe…
When i found out that your period was a new egg that needed to be expelled once a month, i imagined a large, squishy blob the size of a chicken egg, and i could understand why a woman couldnt just sit on the toilet and drop it in all at once. I was really disgusted when i found out that it had to leak out in small chucks, because i imagined a soft-boiled egg sort of deal
I used to believe…
Upon the question of "where babies come from" my mom told me that a man had to put a seed inside the woman and it would grow into a baby, and I refused to believe her (imagining a sunflower seed being put into her stomach), so I tried to trick her by asking her things she wouldnt be able to answer. I asked where it came out of, on the man (being smart enough to disbelieve friends who said that people got ingredients for babies out of stores, because *how would babies me made in days of cavemen, then?*). My mom's blush and refusal to answer confirmed my theory that she was lying.
Strangely enough, I knew about sex, but thought it was just done for the heck of it, and it was only in 5th grade that i found out the two were interelated.

My best buddies dad told me that babies came from watermelon seeds, and that if a woman swallows a watermelon seed she would get pregnant.
