My baby brother had just been weaned so I asked my mum if she was keeping her breasts in case she had another baby.
When I first learnt about sex, I assumed that because Mum had to go to hospital to have a baby, she also had to go there to conceive it. I thought she and Dad had to get up on a sort of operating table to have sex, under the supervision of a nurse. I therefore decided I never wanted to get married.
As a kid, I used to wonder about sex, and about how, with all the big deal our parents made about it, it seemed to require some kind of training. I wondered if two teenagers would have even been able to figure it out by themselves, back in the day.
I, a male, used to think that that a threat of getting "kicked in the ass" must have meant in the testicles, for surely it must hurt there more than any other place.
I once believed that when a man and a woman were "necking," it meant that their necks grew really long, like a giraffe's, and they would entwine their necks and rub them together. This was an odd visual, especially when I found out that people would park in their cars someplace secluded, and then "neck!"
i used to think, when i was about 10, after reading my older brothers book on plants, that
people could also reproduce thru sexual and asexual methods. and i was completely
convinced that my brother was conceived sexually and i was conceived asexually. not that
i knew what any of it meant...
I used think to think that you got pregnant when you turned 16 (thank
God that isn't true) I also thought that when the shuttles landed in
the water as they used to, that the astronauts swam to shore (how
embarassing when you actually voice that in front of the entire 3rd
grade class)
I used to believe that my vagina was called a 'giraffe'. Vagina...Giraffe, sounds the same doesn't it?! *blushing snicker*
I used to believe that babies came from an open door in your tummy...literally! My mother told me that once and it wasn't until sex ed that I found out it wasn't true. I remember feeling indignant about the truth! *laughs*
I used to think a womens vigina hole was about an inch below her belly button. Needless to say i was pretty shocked the first time I stuck my hand down a girls pants and couldnt find the hole! With a little help I was well on my way to manhood.

My mum said that babies came from teabags and when mummies wanted to have a baby the daddies had to make them a special cup of tea with the teabag!Beck
My niece when she was about 4 years old came running in the house and shouted "Gran, Mark's got a great long throozy".
Throozy being her name for a vagina!
I used to believe…
y sister and i use to believe that mum and dad only 'did it' 4 times (once every other year) to produce 4 children. When we found out what 'it' really was, we were so disgusted that dad could do that to her and SHE wuold let him !
When we were young, we used to call a woman's breasts, 'Hum Hums'

i used to believe that you could breath through the the hole in the end of your penis when you were swimming.
When I saw a pregnant woman I always believed they had a football under their dress and were off to the park to play with it.

My little sister argued with me when she was about 14/15 that "floor play" was what people did before moving to the bed.
i used to believe women got pregnant only after marriage by act of God.
My mother told me about menstruation when I was 7 or so. Mindful that this was the same woman who had previously sold me a bill of goods about Santa Claus and the Easter Bunny, I assumed that she was lying through her teeth.
How a woman got pregnent: We worked this out in a mixed discussion group of 7-10 year olds once. A man and woman were required and sleeping together; also required. We were all poor and several of us had shared beds with an opposite-sex sibling and that did not result in a pregnancy. After posing and rejecting several ideas, we determined that the rings (wedding rings) were the trick. If a man and woman wearing rings slept together, then the woman would be pregnant in the morning. Further, the rings had to be on the third finger of the left hand. This also explained the prohibition of non-married to wear rings on those fingers. The ring on THAT finger obviously triggered and set in motion the repoductive system. I had some concern about putting a ring on any finger after that, fearing a mistake.
