I used to believe…

When I was little I used to believe that I was born a male and that one day I was running around naked and a goose came and bit my genitals off, making me a female.

when my younger brother was 3 or 4, he had grasped the concept that he came from "mommy's tummy," but developed a strong fear that he might have to go back in her tummy someday. he expressed his concern about this and felt he was too big to go back in, so he hoped this wasn't required.

when i was young, i thought the "farthest" anyone could go was to be naked with someone, before i knew about sex. later i learned about sex but did not understand that motion was involved. no book said it and no one explained it, so i figured people having sex just lay there motionless and somehow magically knew when it was time to stop.

I used to think that when you kissed at a wedding, you would get pregnant and that you would never know how many children you would get, they would just start coming.

When I was about 10 or 11, I was so obsessed with having a pet other than a fish that one day I went into the fridge and took an egg. I microwaved it for about 10 seconds in the microwave, and then I wrapped it in a few socks and put it in a drawer (Clearly I thought the "warmth" from the hen is what made an egg hatch). I would fantasize all day about the egg hatching into a baby chick!

After a few days, I finally told my mom and she said "the egg can't hatch because it's not fertilized."

Then for some reason, I got this crazy idea in my head that if I put sperm on the egg, it would hatch into a human/chicken. The image of that human/chicken hatching still freaks me out...

When the word "virgin" popped up in the 7th or 8th grade, during a health or science lesson, I never related it to sex. In fact at the time I just thought they meant "virgin" as in, The Virgin Mary, and at the time, as embarrassing as this is to admit, I didnt really understand why they called The Virgin Mary, The Virgin Mary anyway. I never would put sex and religion together. Virgin, was just a word i didnt know.

when I was 10, a friend of mine explained me that in order to have sex you should introduce the penis in one of the many holes women had.
For many years I thought women had like 20 holes and always asked myself wich hole was the correct one and that you should pee inside her in order to get her pregnant

In the third grade, I had a friend who was a year or so older than me. One day, she told me about how her older sister was 'allowed' to have sex since she used condoms. I asked what they were, and she said that her sister showed her one, and it looked like a bag with white stuff at the bottom.

I then believed that condoms were sandwich baggies with little white pills in it.

When I was little I thought when a man and woman had sex, the woman's boobs would fuse with the man's chest and the penis would fuse to the vagina. Then a baby would come out by unzipping the vagina.

I used to think a wet dream was when you had such a scary dream that you wet the bed.

I use to belive that , when i was 7 yrs , in sexual entercourse , penis should put in female ass hole and pee there and after few months a little baby comes out from same hole . but at my age of 12 , my mom explain me how this happens and clear this wrong thinking from my mind .

Okay when I was younger I happened to catch an episode of Roseanne where the daughter was all pissy and mentioned getting her "period last night." I had no idea what that was, so one day at dinner, I ask out loud "Mom, what's a period?" Her boyfriend looked up and goes "The dot at the end of a sentence." Now, I knew that wasn't it, but I didn't press the matter.

A couple days later I was in the bathroom when mom started getting ready for a shower. She took her pants off and I saw a string hanging from her ladyarea, and I was like "Mom, what's that?" and she goes "That's my period." So for like, years after, I thought the period was when a string hung from your lady part. Haha

I used to believe that moms get pregnant just by praying to God..

When i was 3 i asked my mom how she got pregnant.. She told me she just prayed everyday so that God will give her a baby boy..Thinking it was true, the stupid me wanted to have a baby of my own (at the age of 3!hahaha)..in the end, i kept on praying secretly everyday, even kneeling down to the floor! months passed and i kept on checking my tummy--still flat..so i ended giving up and told myself my mom was a liar..

just laughing at this good ol memory everytime i would have my anatomy class..never thought having babies could be so exciting and complicated..hehehe..sigh* (",)

till the age of 13 i always beleived that women gives birth through her navel. hehe

I used to believe that if you were a girl and you touched yourself, ahem "down there", you wouldn't end up getting your period or it would get delayed for a really long time.

I thought this when I was around 9 or 10. When I was 12, I dissapointedly found out how wrong I was.

When I was 5, my mom was pregnant. I already knew where babies come from so I asked her if the baby would be a boy or a girl. She says it depends on what you eat. If you eat meat then the baby would be a boy, if you eat fruits and vegetables then the baby would be a girl. I always believed her ever since because she ate meat during the pregnancy of me and my brother, and for my sisters pregnancy she ate fruits and veggies...
