I was in middle school when I started my period. I came home from school and thought that I had pooed my pants. I told my mom about it and that is when she told me that I had started my period. I was and still am a Christian, so my response to my mom was that I thought the rapture would come befor my period came. I was disapointed and angry. I never wanted to have to start my period. Looking back on this, it is quite funny and up untill now this used to only be between my mom and I.

when I was about 13ish I was talking to a friend about periods and things and she commented how painful it was to change her sanitary towel, which confused me but after some explanation I realised that she was actually sticking the adhesive side to herself!!! ouch. I kindly told her the right way in doing it!

When I was about 4 a friend of my mother's got pregnant, so Iasked the usual questions - The answer I got was that the man planted a seed inside the woman...For the longest time I had a vision of a man and a woman standing on opposite sides of a lounge room and a seed floating through the air to find the woman...I did wonder how the seed would cope if the room was full of people. The scary thing is, even after I had learnt about the act of sex, it took a long time to connect that sex was related to getting pregnant.

i remember i was about 5 or somethin when aids was gettin bad that you cud get aids by kissing and kissing was sex.

when i was really young, i used to believe that rhubarb came from women's periods.

(i was really young and remember hearing only whispered comments about women's periods and bleeding; therefore, when my great grandma would disappear outside and come back in w/a long, blood red thing and told us to eat it, i was horrified, thinking she had pulled it out of her vagina.)

i never did try rhubarb.

When I was little I used to think that all girls were born with a baby inside them, but it was really small (like the size of a nail) and it just grew bigger as you grew up till you got married and then it just came out of your tummy. on finding out how babies really came to be, i was devestated!

When I was younger being naive and geographically inept I assumed that every time someone refered to the "Nether Regions" I thougt they were on about Holland!

I must've had some twisted thoughts about sex as a kid. One day when I was around 7 or 8 my brother who is three years younger fell on top of me (we were both fully clothed). I was scared for weeks I'd get pregnant.

When Pearl Jam's album, 'Vitalogy,' was released, I was in my early teens. In the album's liner notes, for kitsch value, is included an ancient screed against masturbation that features "before" and "after" illustrations of a young man who has succumbed to the "debilitating disease" of "self-pollution." Before, the man is healthy and spry; after, he is pallid and ill. Uninformed about sex and raised in a Puritan atmosphere, I wondered seriously whether the claim were true. For a long while, I suspected that it was and feared accordingly for my health.

When I was younger I knew that sex involved a mans penis going into the womans vagina, but the sperm part got me, I didnt know this existed so I thought that man and woman would just stay "together" and the longer they stayed "together" the more likely that the woman would become pregnant.

For a long time I thought you couldn't have sex if the man wasn't on top.

I used to believe that the blood that came out during a woman's period was the blood that would go in a baby's veins if she were pregnant. I sort of understood the connection between not having periods if you're pregnant, but as for the rest, I didn't have it exactly right.

In the school yard when i was six we used to argue about what sex was in the school yard. One day a boy said he had seen his mother on-top of his father. We all were convinced he was lying, cos in the movies men werealways on top and we were convionced that that was how it was done.

When i was first asked if i was a virgin, i had no idea what it ment. I had never made any decicioon as far as i was aware to become 'virgin', whilst I had become 'vegetarian'. i half suspected they ment vegan, so i said No, i'm a vegetarian, whiuch got a lot of laughs.

i used to believe that the baby came out of the ass, i was always afraid of getting a baby when i was at the toilet, hehe

I USED TO THINK THAT BABIES APPEARED THROUGH A BELLY BUTTON; BUT "KIDS" WERE PURCHASED AT SOME TYPE OF "KIDZ R US" TYPE STORE!

My uncle used to tell me that if I blew really hard through my thumb every day, my boobs will grow. It never worked!
