When my nephew was six he was being naughty so I told him that his mum and dad bought him from a supermarket.
I went on to say that they decided to take him back because they didn't like him but the supermarket wouldn't give them their money beck.
I think I may have scarred him for life!
I also thought that the function of testicles was test your pee. (Test for what, I don't know. Diseases? Impurities?).
After all, they are called TESTicles.

I used to think that the proper term for anus was "poonis". After all, you pee with your penis, so you must poo with your "poonis". Logical, eh?
I used to believe that you could tell if a woman has had sex by seeing if her thighs didn't touch when she walked.I dunno......

In the 5th grade when we all watched the film about our periods, I decided that it was all too gross and I wasn't going to do it....so much for mind over matter
I used to think that sex was accomplished with both partners standing up. The couple would face each other, press their privates together, arch their backs so that they are both bending backwards, and raise their hands into the air. And while they are doing this, they would say "Quaaaaah! Quaaaaah!"
Where did I get this bizarre idea? Thinking back, I realize that it came from a poster I saw once in the London Underground, possibly advertising a movie or a dance production, and a friend who was with me told me it was a picture of two people having sex. The "Quaaaah!" was simply a corruption of the British slang "Cor!" which means something like "Oh god!"
I figured out at around the age of six that married women had babies and unmarried women didn't. What I couldn't work out was how in the world the babies knew in advance which was which?
I used to believe that only women have orgasms. One can imagine how I learned the truth about this one at age 12 in the bathroom, all alone. I've always been scientific, finding things out for myself...
Bashful Southern Baptists, my parents never gave me 'The Talk.' All they ever taught me about sex was that it was something naughty to feature or to watch on TV and that no one ought to do it (whatever frightful and secret thing "it" was) until after marriage. Until I was enlightened by the Texas public school system, I thought that sex was merely rolling around on the floor, fully clothed, with a member of the opposite sex--and of course, I had no idea how babies figured into it.
When I was about 4 or 5 I used to think that babies came out of your belly button!

I thought my testicles were pickled onions I had swallowed wrongly.
I used to believe that women could only get pregnant once they were married and it just sort of happened
I used to believe that babies were born through a hole in the mother's belly button. Eventually I found out the truth and got on with the harsh reality of being 29.
My mum and dad used to tell me that sex was when two people rubbed human filth over each other, so every time someone mentioned it I would say it was disgusting and say that I would never do it!
When I was young I misread the word pubic, thinking it said public. I could never understand why something you kept hidden was called public hair!!!!
I used to believe that the scrotum were the place the urine was collected so when I was really in the need for a piss, I used to massage it to make it go away.
It wasn't until I was about 9-10 when I realized that the amount of urine i peed was too much to fit inside the scrotum and that I had to rethink it all.
I used to believe that a man had to go to hospital for an injection in order to get an erection. I said this to my mum when I was about 11... I don't think she has ever laughed as much!

I thought that boys' bikes had cross bars on them so they could lay their willies on it as they cycled.
When I was about 11 I decided that I didn't want to get a girl pregnent. So I told everyone I was getting a visectomy. At that time I thought that meant that you got your testicles removed.
