I used to think that when Mums were pregnant, they had to swallow orange and lemon pips so that little trees would grow so tha the babies would have something to eat

When I was about 5, I remember asking my dads how I was concieved. They told me that one of their spermies (which one will never be known) was planted into my surogate's tummy by a doctor. So I then proceded to tell all my friends that a babies came from special doctors who choose your mommy for you, then plant your daddie's spermies in her tummy.

When I got my period for the first time my aunt told me that during my period if I sat next to any boys I would get pregnant! I refused to sit next to my uncle, cousins, dad, brother for the longest time!!!!!

My brother and I were watching TV (about 7 and 5 at the time) when a condom commercial came on.I remember my mom rushing from the kitchen to the living room to see if we had any questions. After a few minutes she asked us if we knew what a condom was. I said that it's something the boy puts on when he kisses a girl so they won't get sick. When she turned to my brother he said:"Don't worry mom! I'll wear it all over my body so I'll be safe even if the girl touches my hand!!!"

When I was about 9 and found out how babies were really conceived, I thought that pregnant women must be really embarrassed - everyone could see that they had "done it."

I had this crazy idea that when a woman had her period for the first time she walked a certain way. So I would see like 35 year old women and think "Nah, she doesn't have her period yet, she's not walking right".

I used to believe that I had two holes down there....the pee and poop hole...I didn't find out until I was 12 that there was another...now im 15!

Until I was about 10, I was convinced that, during sex, a man's thingie went inside a woman's special place, and curled up into a spiral shape. I have no clue why I ever thought this.

when i was around grade 4 (or below), i used to believe that babies were born from their mum's belly that they just popped from the belly button when it's time.

When my mother told me about the actual sex act, I was 9 and it was 1968 and the candidates for U.S. President were busy campaigning. I remember being very troubled and couldn't get the thought out of my head that Democratic candidate Robert F. Kennedy had had sex 10 times...at that time he had 10 kids. For me, this was a totally unbelievable idea! This was a few months before his assassination. After he was assassinated and I found out his wife was going to have an 11th child, I couldn't believe that she had had sex 11 times and that now that he was dead she wouldn't have to worry about having sex anymore...

As a kid, although I knew all about the sperm and egg thing, I was a bit muddled about intercourse. I didn't realize that it was a "deliberate" act. I thought it was just something that happened sometime during the night while you were sleeping. Therefore it made perfect sense to me that girls and boys who weren't married shouldn't "sleep together".

When I was about 8 years old, I thought that "making love" was simply the process of two people falling in love. This caused a problem when I went to an aquarium with my parents, saw two fish in a tank staring at each other, and screamed, "Hey dad, look! These fish are MAKING LOVE!" I was pretty confused as to why he glared at me and told me to be quiet...I knew I must have said something wrong, but it was a few years before I actually figured it out.

After being shuffled in and out of the movie room for the much anticipated sex education film, I couldn't figure out why the danger of pregnancy was discussed so severely. If you couldn't become pregnant unless you started your period then why not just have sex when you were not menstruating?? My goodness, what was so hard about that?

i thought - when i was pregnant - i could dye my hair blond, and my baby wouldn´t be brunette as i am.

Around the age of six my best friend and I were pondering what sex was. I came up with the explanation that we both decided was the truth-----that sex was a guy sticking a Q-tip up his butt and then sticking the same one up the girl's butt. Naturally when the girl had the baby, it came out her butt too. (I didn't know we had vaginas. I just used to think that everything down there was your butt.)

I was told that if boys had sex with each other they would have a "Blood Baby" I never asked what that meant.

I used to think that the "napkins" in the dispenser in the ladies restroom were actually napkins to dry your hands on. I was in the restroom once with a friend and we had washed our hands and were trying to decide if we wanted to use the paper towels or the special "napkins". I thought they must be pretty special if you had to pay for them.

When I was a child and asked my parents the big sex question, it was explained go me that, "The man puts something in the woman's vagina." I had heard of birth control pills, so I figured somehow there were little capsules you put in there that could turn into a baby, and a different kind to put up there if you changed your mind and decided you no longer wanted to have a baby. (the control pills) I think I probably could've used a more thorough explanation.

I thought something was seriously wrong with me because nothing came out when I had an orgasm.I knew stuff came out of a mans´ penis,so I was sure the same thing would have to happen to women.I figured it had to be tiny eggs...
