As a kid I'd read my dad's Playboy. I remember thinking that a girl's honeypot was her bum. Talk about dislexia.

When I was in about the fifth grade, A group of friends and I went up to a younger kid on the playground and asked him where babies came from. We knew of course, but we wanted to tease the little kid to see what he would say.

His reply: "The plus minus [pregnancy] test."

When I was about 7 or 8, my cousin and I were discussing kissing and such... I told her that my friend had been in the bathroom brushing her teeth, and then talking to her 3 year old brother afterwards- him just wearing his underwear (with planes on them if I remember, lol) and she had given him a hug. I then told my cousin that they had sex. She said that wasn't possible, they had to be completely naked, and then hug!

When I was about 9, I used to think that oral sex was people french kissing... i mean, oral-mouth, and knowing what sex was, i figured it was just tounges and mouths instead of man parts and girl parts. id get mad watching tv, because theyd have ppl in these huge kisses, and id be like ma! theyre having oral sex on tv! turn!

When I was young, I used to think that "sanitary napkins" were just "really clean" napkins. Once, in an airplane, I came back from the toilet with one of these, prepared to use it while I ate the in-flight meal. My mother, looking horrified, gasped and snatched it from my hands, never explaining exactly what it was for. After that thought it was something quite unsanitary indeed - but what?

i laboured under the rather terrifying belief that in order to make a baby my seed would have to be put into my wife. why so terrible? unfortunately i thought surgery would be involved in removing one of my two 'seeds' (i now understand the surgery to be known as castration and largely unrelated to dedicated couples reproducing). as you can imagine, it took me a long time to realise that one day i'd actually love to father children: consequently, i blame the parents!

I used to believe that people made babies simply by kissing. I held onto that belief even after my dad sat me down and told me the facts of life, because I didn't believe him. It was just too gross.

I knew where babies came from, but I didn't know how they got there, so I just assumed at age 9 that I had the baby all ready inside me until it was time for it to come out.

When I was around 5-years old, a friend told me that you could get pregnant by kissing. I was so scared for months afterward whenever my mother would kiss me goodnight!

When i was a child i was told and truely believed, that i wasnt born, but chosen and bought from the local Co-Op supermarket. My parents even told me they paid for me with Co-Op stamps !!

It was the general concensus at our school that, if a girl closed her legs when you were having sex with her, the bones in her pelvis woul chop your penis off....

when i was a youngster i thought that pubic hair was public hair and i was certain when i got some it was not going "public", how revolting it seemed at the time.

When I first realised that having sex meant putting your thingy in a lady's you-know-what, I couldn't work out what was meant to happen next. I was sure that you just laid there motionless and somehow the lady's body did something to cause you to blow off...... It's lucky I sussed out the truth before my first sexual encounter cos that would have been v.embarrassing.

I used to believe that birth control pills were there so you could choose whether you wanted a boy or girl( blue pills were for boys and pink for girls). I was very young when I believed this.....

One day when I was very little, I asked my dad the dreaded question "where did I come from?" He told me I was born out of a baked bean tin and they picked me up in the supermarket. It took me a long time to figure out that bake bean tins didnt come in that size.

I used to believe that oral sex was when you yelled, or made noise while having sex.

When I was about 4 or 5 I asked my Mom where babies came from. She told me to ask my Dad. I did and he told me to ask my Mom. So, I asked my big brother (he was about 7 or 8 at the time)
He told me the JC Penney Catalog and showed me the pictures of the babies. Of course they were selling the baby clothes. I thought it was cool when we got the Sears catalog because they sold babies too.
I believed this till I was about 9 and my friend told me the truth. My brother got a good punch in the arm for that one!

I was 4 years old at the time and got out of bed one night, looking for my mom and dad. I was too small to reach the light for the staircase, so I called out, "MOMMY?". In seconds, her and dad were sitting at the top of the stairs.

They must have thought I heard something, because I asked, "What are you doing?" My dad answered, "We were making babies".

I asked, "How do you make babies?"..and he said, "When you love someone very, very much...that's how babies are made"..and from there, my Mom and Dad asked me to come up and cuddle with them.

We all sat there at the top of the stairwell and the three of us cuddled for, what seemed like forever!!

Months later, when my mom was getting close to giving birth, my dad took me aside and said, "Remember the night when we cuddled on the stairs and loved each other sooo much?...well, because you, Mommy, and me...loved each other sooo very much...you're going to have a new little sister."

Nobody can even imagine the pride I felt, thinking that I had a part in loving my mom and dad sooo much that I'd get a new "little sister"!!

My mom and dad told me that the only way you could make babies was to love someone alot.

When I was little, I remeber watching a Ceech & Chong movie, and one of the characters stuck his fingers in the coin return of a telephone, and got some nasty stuff on his hands and exclaimed "Caca!" For some reason, from then on, I though Caca was what you call female pubic hair, and when one of my friends said Caca around his parents one day I got really embarrased for him and ran home.
