I used to believe that my grandpa was pregnant... he was all muscle everywhere else except for his very round belly. When I couldn't take the weight anymore, I had to ask him why his water hadn't broken yet... I had to explain to him why I thought this, too. He laughed and said that boys stayed pregnant longer than girls.. it wasn't until I was 8 or 9 that I finally found out that it was a beer belly..
I still remember checking him every day... *sigh*

I used to believe…
Up until I was about eight, I thought sex was only done to make babies; I had no idea that it was pleasurable or that people did it for fun. I knew all about how the actual act of reproduction worked (with the exception of penises having to become erect first), but not why people would do it except perhaps out of boredom or a sense of duty.

when i was younger i was taking a shower with my mom and i saw the hair on her vagina and i started crying and told her that the was a hairy monster attacking her vagina

When I asked where babies come from, my mother explained that chemicals are exchanged from the man, into the woman, who then grows the baby in her womb. (My mom was pretty honest) I filled in the blanks though, the only real interaction I could think of to exchange chemicals was making out.
I used to believe that men had something in the back of their mouths, that would shoot out into the woman's mouth (ala Alien), and drop the chemicals down the throat into the woman's womb.
I used to believe when the bride and groom kissed at the wedding, something passed from his mouth to hers to get her pregnant. Babies took a year to be born, and ALL babies were born one year after marriage.
I used to beleive that parents go to a special market to purchase a baby for themselves becasue they are bored, so they want to enjoy with kids to have something new.

One time when I was younger I had asked my sunday school teacher what a virgin was. You know, cuz of the Virgin Mary? She said ti was someone who hasn't had a baby yet... -_-

From a young age I had a book called "How Babies Are Made". Of course, I never bothered to read it. Thanks to one illustration, I spent a long time thinking that a women gets pregnant when she and a man lay in bed and face each other.
I used to believe…
When I was four years old and naked in my bedroom, my moher entered and I asked her where babies came from. She pointed to my penis and said, "From inside there." Over the next two years I thought I would have to carry a baby inside my penis if I ever became pregnant. So I avoided any kind of contact with girls on the playground at nursery school and kindergarten. Later, in the 1st grade, my best friend told me the true fact of life. I was shocked and then relieved.

I used to believe that babies came out of my belly button and i was always really facinated by how such a big thing as a baby can come out from a little button hole
I used to believe that a woman would get pregnant if she sat on toliet seat after a man had forgot to raise the seat up and left urine on it. I honestly thought that until I was about 16. Talk about naive! :)

On our honeymoon, my husband told me that he used to believe that when and man and a woman have sex, neither one of them has to move. The man just sits there inside her, and her insides do all of the work. He deffinately found out that its not true.

When I heard my brother describe a man and woman's reproductive organs as the hot dog and the bun, I developed a picture in my mind that that's how a man and a woman had sex: The man's penis would just lay on the outside of the woman, like a hot dog in a bun.

When I was younger I believed that the number of hours you slept naked with someone determined how many kids you had. I was always scared I would fall asleep and become pregnant with like 5 kids!
I used to believe that when you had your period you would bleed out of a hole in your skin, kind of at the bottom of your tummy. I thought when it happened to me i would just use a band-aid to stop the bleeding. my friend told me it happened in year 4 so I dreaded year 4 for many years. I also thought it only ever happened once. (if only it were true.) I soon figured out it happened every month but still thought it was a one day event so when I got my period for the first time that night I didn't use a pad because I thought it was all over. I had a rude awakening.

When I was a little kid, I thought that people had sex by going to the bathroom on each other. I have NO idea what sick, perverted thing I saw that would lead me to think that. To this day I still stop and sadly shake my head at myself when I think of that.
I didnt start my period until i was almost fifteen... around the age of 13 or so I heard a story about twin girls who after never getting their period found out they had been born boys but things didnt develop right. I lived the next two years in terror that I would never get my period and end up having to be a guy for the rest of my life....

When i got my first yeast infection i thought i transmitted a sexual disease...cause i kissed a boy...i didnt tell my mom for soooo long and then it got really bad and i went to her crying telling her i wouldnt live much longer and explaining my reasons...and she took me to the doctors and i said i was sorry like 50 times to the doctor and she just looked at me like i was retarded...
