i used to think that there was no movement in the sexual act. in my mind, penetration would occur and then you'd just lie there. unbelievably, i thought this until i was about seventeen.

As a child, I had walked in on my dad in the bathroom once or twice, prompting my mom to give me "the talk," so I wasn't exactly a stranger to the male anatomy.
One day, though, I ended up playing doctor with a friend of mine and found that his penis was a lot smaller than my dad's, both in absolute terms and in proportion to the rest of his body. I knew from TV that having a small penis was something to be ashamed of, so I teased him for it for years. It never occured to me that they grow the way they do

A few days ago, my girlfriend and I went to eat at Pizza Hut. There was a very loud little league baseball team, probably between ages 8 and 12. They were all talking about their girlfriends (obviously made up) and coming up with reasons why none of the others could meet them such as they were international models and traveled a lot. The conversation went on and one of them asked something about what a wet dream was. there was a bit of a pause and one of the kids said very loudly that it was when you peed while sleeping. ... All the other boys agreed, and my girlfriend and I started laughing uncontrollably at our table.

My mother oversees the sex-ed program in our school district. She is very open to talk about sex and would often talk to myself, my sister, and two step-brothers about sex. She believed that it is better to learn from her than our great public school system.
Well, before we entered sex-ed at school, she gave us these books to read about sex and puberty. To see if we had read them, she would ask us questions about what we had read.
One night, while sitting around the dinner table, she asked my youngest step-brother (about 11 at the time) if he knew what sex was. He said yes, so she asked what it was. He hesitated a moment and the with confidence he said, "It is when a guy pees inside of a girls vagina to get her pregnant." ... The rest of us broke out in laughter.
