Well, When I was younger, I went to a Catholic school. The way we learned sex education was to read it from a book. The book said that a woman got pregnant through an opening in her body, but they didn't say where....so I thought that there was a hole in every woman's side where they got pregnant.

Once when i was little me and my parents pulled up to a sonic. my mom was ordering chedder peppers, but my dad actually mispronounced it and said "chedder peckers". they began to crack up so i figured it was a joke of some sort. Afterwards we went to church and my mom and I were talking to the pastor. She told him we went to sonic and i chimed in loudly saying "yeah! she ate chedder peckers!!"

When I was five my older sister told me that our mom found her in a cabbage patch and I actully believed her. :)

Once I came across my mother's diaphragm in her room, but I had no idea what it was. I figured it was a really big condom. Let's just say I was a little freaked out by my dad when he came home that night. I figured his penis must be really big, and I couldn't fathom how that was humanly possible. I know better now.

When I was about 5 I found my mother's book "What to Expect When You're Expecting" and I was fascinated by everything in it. Something got lost in translation, however, because I thought a trimester was a doctor's appointment you had to go to three times when you were pregnant. Well, my neighbor was pregnant, and one day my mother asked if I'd seen her, and I said, "No...maybe she had to go to her trimester today." That gave her a good laugh.

when i was like 6 or 7 we went to this health fair and kids that age like balloons...well i picked up what i thought were balloons (after a few tries because the lady would not let me have them) i brought them hope and asked my mom to open the package....she laughed because what i thought were balloons were actually condoms.....explains everything..

When I was younger, I didn't know there's such a thing as testicles - I thought males only have penises and nothing else.
Now the first shock: I'm a boy.
Then the second shock: I'M TELLING TRUTH!
I understood how babies were made at an early age but was hazy on the details. I thought that the first time a woman had sex, the millions of sperm cells would fertilize every egg cell all at once. From then on, each month she would release a fertilized egg at ovulation and become pregnant unless she took birth control pills to prevent implantation. The first man she ever slept with would be the father of all her children. This explained why people made such a huge deal about waiting til marriage.

Forget the stork; I believed that when a baby was about to be born, all the 'fetuses" were lined up on a cloud in heaven, each securely in a car seat. When the mom was about to give birth, God would get the signal and push the baby off of the cloud, and they would land in the mom's belly just in time to...'pop' out.

When I was young, I thought that once a woman got her period, she bled constantly for the rest of her life. I didn't understand why the puberty books contained guidance on how to determine whn your period ends. I was really scared.

When I was 9 I had a friend who got her period. We were both facinated. I asked my cousin (whos a 10 year old boy) what it was, he said it was when a girl was about to die because a period means the end. He said, "All girls get it. Some earlier than others." I took a class about it and I learned what it really was. I will not let him get over it!

When I was in 1st grade I heard about virginity. Unlike other people, my mom was VERY open about sex and stuff, I learned about it early. It never freaked me out.
Then when I was at school the next day we were talking about zodiacs. Some girl raised her hand and said "I'M A VIRGO!!" I laughed and said, "You mean VIRGIN!" My teacher was shocked and pulled me aside at recess to tell me the differerence. My mom won't leave me alone about it.

Until the age of ten or eleven I believed that a baby came out of a woman's butt. I was so disgusted and I wondered if when I could have a baby, it would be covered in poo.
I used to believe…
When i was little, I did not understand the concept of puberty, so I thought a girl's breasts would grow overnight. I was a modest child, so one day i said to my mother, "Mommy, will you promise me that you won't clap when my boobs grow?"
I used to believe that when a man and a woman were married, they would just ask God for a baby, and one would come out of the mother's stomach nine months later. One day I was playing house with my friend and we were pretending to be married so I asked God for a baby. I was terrified that I might be pregnant for months afterwards.
I don't know how my parents managed it, but I don't remember a time before I completely understood where babies came from or exactly what sex was. My friends apparently weren't so lucky. During 5th grade sex ed class, my dear girl friend, once she fully comprehended what she was learning, shuddered so hard that she fell off her chair.

I used to think that everyone was born without a penis, and the boys grew penises if they were boys. That was up until I had a little brother. :D
I used to believe…
One day my parents were sitting close together, as the family was chatting with friends. And a man made a comment to them that totally confused me, being a little kid as I was at the time. He asked my parents if they were trying to keep up with "Mary". "Mary" had just had another baby. Now, I was learning in grade school about how the egg is fertilized by the sperm, etc. But they hadn't told us about how the sperm GET to the egg. So when I heard this comment, I thought that the sperm must jump through the skin when you get up against a boy. And THAT'S how the sperm gets to the egg.
After that, I was afraid to get near men and boys because I didn't want their sperm to jump through our skin and get me.

When i was about 10 and i had my first period, i did not know what it meant.
So when i first saw it i thought i got blood cancer and i went crying to my mom sayin i had got blood cancer. Then she explained me what it actually was.
I used to believe…
When I asked my mother if I would have more siblings, she explained that my father had an operation so she wouldn't get pregnant anymore. I assumed she had his penis cut off.
