I used to believe…

When I was about ten, people were always talking about how fast I was growing up. Around Christmas, I was looking at all the wrapped presents, trying to figure out what they were. One was slightly round, about 6x3 inches, and I knew exactly what it was. It couldn't be anything else, I decided. It was a tampon.
I wasn't sure what a tampon was, but I knew it was part of growing up. I stressed about it for days, trying to figure out what to tell my parents. What if they didn't know what a tampon was? What would I tell them?
Finally, Christmas morning came, and I put off opening that gift for as long as possible. I finally got up the nerve to open it, and... it was a bottle of shampoo.

When I was around seven or eight, my best friend decided that having sex is where you pee into each other. I was really concerned at this point because I didn't want to pee in front of anyone, especially a boy for that matter. My house is an open household so my mother would walk in while I was peeing all the time. After this news about sex I wouldn't let anybody in while I was using the bathroom.

I finally confronted my mother and she gave me the whole story including a book; 'Our Bodies, Ourselves'. So I knew way too much about sex early on. I told my friend and she felt as awkward as I did.

Though I'm almost twenty now and I'm still freaked out about peeing in front or within earshot of other people.

Until he was a bloomin' nine year old, my cousin believed that his penis would fall off one day. So, thinking he was hilarious, my uncle, during a family party, dropped a chicken sausage (the cocktail type) on the pretty clean floor, and went, "Oh my God! (Inserts cousin's name), that's your dick, ain't it?" My cousin instantly burst out crying, as my uncle casually picked up the sausage and ate it.

He's 12 now, and I think he's still afraid of losing an important part of the male anatomy, since he takes only a minute (literally) to enter the toilet, pee, wash his hands and exit.

This one is about my sister. My family and family of my family all used to hang out together. One day my sister who was about 9 at the time came crying to my mom that a cousin of a family member who was 13 had sex with her. My mom was in shock, the boy denied it of course. My mom then asked her what he did. She said he fell on her. She was convinced because he was on top of her they had sex.

My husbsand told me that when he was younger he thought girls and boys had the same "parts" but the only difference was, that the girls own was really really small, so he used to laugh at them (to himself) about their small "parts". How funny is that! (LOL) I still pick on him about it!

I used to believe that in order for a woman to get pregnant the man had to pee inside her vagina.

I also thought "making love" meant making out for a long time. Stupid soap operas!

I used to believe that a blow "job" meant to blow dry someone's potty..as job is also called BIG JOB..which means shitt.

When I was a kid, I believed that if a girl wore boys' underwear, she'd grow a penis. Actually, that belief was only TRULY refuted a few weeks ago, by my (female) friend who likes to wear Batman Underoos....according to her, she's been wearing them for years, and still hasn't noticed anything growing down there, so it *must* be safe, lol.

When I was kid, I don't remember if it's when I saw my uncle's wife pregnant, or when they had their baby (my cousin).. anyway, I asked my uncle's wife where did they get the baby from, she told me that they went to the market and bought it.
So I imagined that there is a special market for selling babies, hahhahaha, I still have the image in my head!!

Long time after, I discovered the real truth!! lol

when I was really really young I accidently stumbled across some porn on TV playing with our new sattelite dish. I knew it was sex, and that sex made you pregnant. So for the next couple of weeks I'd stare at my belly in the mirror wondering if I was pregnant. I gave myself until my birthday in September and that if I hadn't grown a belly by then that I must not be pregnant. phew.

My family and I were having dinner at a resturant, when it was time to go my mom suggested that we take a doggy bag home for my brother (who is a vegetarian), when the waitress walked up my sister answered my mother saying "we can't take this home for him, you know he's a virgin" you could only imagine the look on the waitress face, was I the only one laughing or what! (My sister is 3 yrs. older than me)

I used to believe that in order to have sex, you had to be completely naked. I mean, totally naked. I thought if there was any piece of clothing or accessory, it wasn't sex.

So, when I saw titanic, and that Rose had on her earrings during the sex scene, I knew that they couldn't possibly be having sex.

I used to believe…

Okay, when I asked my mother where babys came from, she told me that a man and a womans body would come together, and that would create a baby.

Well, by bodies, I thought she meant stomachs, so I thought that if you hugged a guy, that you could get pregnant.

I couldn't imagine why hugging was so acceptable.

Up till even past where I knew what happens during an orgasm, I used to think my mom had some serious nightmare problems some nights and would start moaning in fear. I even told her this, and she hesitated, but then supported my belief with wide eyes.

Boy was I nauseous when I put two and two together Valentine's Day night...

I used to believe that if you said "x" 100 times it would become "sex" and you would get pregnant. I also used to beleive If someone und er 21 had a baby she wqould die.
