I used to think when I was a little kid that babies came out of the bellybutton as spaghetti and the doctors would have to put the baby together like a puzzle.
I used to believe that blue babies were babies who held their bereath too long. My best friend told me she and her dad were born blue, her sister was purple and her mom was green. I looked at baby pics of myself and told her I was pink.
I'm sure I'm not the only one but when I was little I believed that mothers gave birth to girls and fathers gave birth to boys.
i used to belive that when a woman had a baby it came out of your butt
I used to think that when I had a stomach ache, i was going to give birth. I would sit on the toilet and hoping the baby would be a boy. Sadly, all I got was a brown poop.
you know when a woman is pregnant, sometimes her tummy button sticks out, I used to belive that you pushed the tummy button when the baby was ready to come out
Like many people, I thought that babies were born through the belly button.
So one time, when I was 5, I went swimming with my best friend. She had this sort of two piece tankini swimsuit, and I could clearly see her belly button. I was horrified to note that it was an outie.
I took her aside to break the news to her. I grimly informed her that she could never have children.
Her mother chided me for causing her to break into tears for no reason.
I used to think that natural baby birth meant that the baby came out of the mother's belly button, and a "c-section" meant that they had to cut open the mommy's tummy to get the baby out [at least I had half of it right]! At one point when I was younger, I actually asked my best friend's mother if my friend had come out of her belly button or if they had to do a c-section.
When my brother was born and I was 2, my parents gave me a puppet, telling me it was from my brother, so I would like him and wouldn't get jealous. I thought the puppet came out of my mom's belly, along with my brother!
When I was little i used to think that women had babies out of their belly buttons!
once when I was little I saw a woman who had a hump on her back. I don't know why I came to this conclusion, but I thought that she was pregnant and the baby would come out of her butt and the baby was living in her back.
When I was little I thought that babies came out of the same hole that your poo does, and always wondered how you kept them from getting poo all over them when you gave birth...
When I was very small, I believed that babies were born with clothes on, and it was the clothing that told you whether or not you had a baby boy or a baby girl.
I used to believe that babies were born from a girl's belly button instead of...you know what. Because when I asked my mom where babies come from, thats what she told me so that's what I thought up until a few years ago and I'm 14 so ya...pretty embarassing!
I was about 8 months pregnant with my second child and was holding my 4-year-old son in my lap (what was left of it). He placed his hand on my huge tummy to feel the baby kick and he said, "When you come home from the hospital, will you be wearing a cast on your leg?" I was startled and said, "Honey, why would you ask me that?" He said, "Well, when they chop off your leg to squeeze the baby out, how will they get the leg back on?" Time for our "first talk"... at four year's old!!!
When my sister was born (I was 4) I believed that both my parents were breast feeding her. My mother gave milk and my father - tea.
I'll keep it short...
I thought that babies came out of their mothers belly buttons.
I have always believed that babies comes out of the ass....I thought that untill I was 12 years old.... I am now 16 and some how that subject is always popping up from time to time!
My dad used to tell me that when mom was pregnant with me, she used to eat noodle soup every night and she ate so much of it I was born with a noodle on my head. When I was little, I used to introduce myself saying, "Hi. My name is _____ and I was born with a noodle on my head!" It made sense - since babies came out of their mommy's tummy!
As a little girl I was convinced that babies had the choice of being born from their mummy's tummy buttons or their bottoms. I told everyone I had emerged from my mum's tummy button, and was devastated when I learned the truth!!
