I used to believe…
My friend Aliana told me in 1st grade that a ghost had come out of the toilet in the big stall in the girls bathroom and had written "GET OUT! GO AWAY!" in blood on the mirror, and my friend Beth ( who had moved) had gotten killed and eaten and that's why she wasn't at school anymore. So, then I was scared of the loud noise the toilet flushing made, afraid that the ghost would come out, so since my hands were all pee-y, I'd cover my ears with my elbows and go and and wash my hands, not looking in the mirror, and RUN OUT of the bathroom!! I even did that at home. My parents thought I was weird...

I used to think that when you would flush the toilet that all your pee and poop would go down to this little guy under the toilet and he would make a huge cake out of it and then every so often all of the other toilet cake makers would have a party and vote on who had the best cakes. I tried to make sure I always gave him good ingrediants so my toilet guy would win! lol. i was a weird kid!

When I was little, I wasn't afraid of the dark. No, I was afraid of the alligator living in the toilet. No idea why I thought there was one, but I was always afraid to sit down in case it bit me in the butt.

I was up at the lake when I was about 3 years old, and had to use an out house. I had some how gotten it in my head that an alligator lived in the toilet and was waiting to grab me when I sat down. I was so scared of falling in the toilet that I had to get my dad to hold me up (I wouldn't even touch the toilet), and I cried the whole time.
I was frightend of the '9 o'clock hosses' till I knew what they were. They were the people who came round to empty the toilet bucket. At that time of the night.
I went to visit a friend as a small child, and while I was there I saw part of a horror movie where a person in a bathtub got turned into a red hand that chased people. I came home so terrified that I didn't want to go anywhere near the bathroom for any reason without my mom with me, I was sure that red hand was going to drag me into the pipes- through the bathtub, down the toilet-
I don't know why I believed this... but when I was being potty-trained, I was terrified of the Toilet Monster. I thought if I didn't go #1 or #2 then he would be hungry and would get mad and eat me! I was so scared of NOT being able to go, that I totally avoided the bathroom. Curses to whomever told me that!

Around the age of five or six i used to beleive that as i was peeing in the toilet a single file of about 7 hooded and stooped monsters kind of like the ones from the film the dark crystal were travelling extremely fast around the world coming to get me and wouldn't stop until i had finished peeing, flushed and got out of the room as fast as i could. To this day it makes me nervous to be in a bathroom whilst the toilet is flushing. what a creepy little guy i was.
I used to be scared that when I flushed the toilet the water would go everywhere instead of where it was supposed to go. I believed this because at school one of the boys said that that happened in the boys' toilets.

My sister told me once of a rat coming out of someone's toilet (dunno if it was true) but then I was afraid of a sewer rat coming out of the toilet and biting my butt when I was on the toilet. I also though that I wasn't safe from the rat until I was out of the bathroom and down the hall before the flush was completed. I was a weird little cretin.

When I was 5-6, I saw the cover of a horror movie where a goblin was sitting on top of the toilet. From then on i could never flush the toilet because I was scared the goblin was going to come out once I flushed it so I would run out of the bathroom right after I was done.
