I used to believe that a snake would come out of the toilet and bite my butt... i thought i saw a snake in the toilet and I freaked out........ then i realized somebody pooped in there and didnt flush lol

I used to be so afraid of going to the bathroom because I thought a boa constrictor somehow got into our pipes and would come out of the toilet.

The handicap sign is always seen in public restrooms so I automatically thought it was a guy sitting on a toilet. It always confused the hell out of me when i saw them on parking spaces.

this is was my daughters belief, when she was about 4 or 5 we were at the airport using the bathroom, when the toilet flushed by itself she asked "mom how did it know to flush?" i explained to her there was an electronic eye that detected motion, well ALL that she heard was "electronic eye" she was convinced there was a person sitting behind the wall looking through the hole to see you get up and then they would flush. she was terrified to use a public bathroom with motion sensors after that.

When I was on a plane I used to believe that toilets would suck you in and you would be released out of the plane. Just the fact that the inside is black and it makes that loud noise it really scared me!

When I was little, my sister convinced me and my brother that when you flush the toilet, the "stuff" being flushed went through an underground tunnel to the mailbox, and that the mailman picked it up and brought it somewhere.

when i was a kid i was scared of sitting in the western style of loo coz i believed that one day a snake might come from the hole and bite me on my bums..!!!
and i woukdn't be able to see it coming...!!! :p

When we were little my friend and I made up a story about a scary creature that lives in the toilet and would bite your bum if you would stay on it too long. We called it the 'Bum-biter'. I actually started to believe in its existence and was very scared to go to the bathroom after that. I was allready in highschool when I stopped believing in it.

When I was in preschool I was afraid to go to the bathroom by myself. Finally, one day my preschool teacher told me that Jesus was with me everywhere I went. So every time I went to the bathroom, I would open the stall next to mine to let Jesus go to the bathroom too. I always remembered to flush after him too!

I used to believe that when you went to the toilet at night you were in danger of turtles jumping up and biting your bum..

When I was little my dad told me and my brothers that if we sat on the toilet for too long our intestants would fall out. I was terrified for years this was going to happen so I was race away from the toilet after finishing my business.

I used to believe that when you flushed the toilet, monsters would chase after you so I would run out of the bathroom as soon as I flushed.

When automatic toilets became common, I was still a little girl. I would always freak out when I had to use an automatic flushing toilet because I thought it was going to suck me into the toilet, and a vicious animal, like a shark or an alligator, was going to eat me. This made me terrified of public restrooms, especially the ones with those types of toilets. Until I was about 15, I dreaded using public restrooms, even though I knew better. Now , I'm just afraid I'm going to drop something into the toilet.

When i was little i used to think that when i went to the restroom snakes would come out of my toilet and eat me.eww
