I used to believe…

When I was small and just starting to use a proper toilet, I had a terrible fear of falling down it in case I got flushed away!

I used to believe…

when I was young, I used to believe that If I go to the toilet, ghost appear at the night.
my friends tell me that the ghost ask me"which do you want red or white paper?" so I cant go to the toilet every night.

I wasn't completly pottey trained 'till I was 3 1/2. I was fine with peeing, but pooping hurt, and u were on the toilet so long I was afraid a bee would sting my butt. Because of this I was afraid to poop and so when I was 3 me and my family were at a restraunt and I stood up growning. My mother asked if I had to go to the bathroom and I said, "no I just gota say Wooooooff!"

I am in absolute shock that I'm not the only one who beleived a Vampire lived in the toilet! I have absolutely no idea where this beleif came from, but I used to run as fast as I could after I flushed because I thought the Vampire would wake up and get me!

I used to believe that some sort of king lived in the toilets, both the flushing ones and the latrines. I thought that if I wasn't fast enough, he would grab my butt and force me to marry him with my pants around my knees, something that would be very embarassing. Although I knew that there's no-one in the toilet I was still afraid of falling into toilets, and had to be very fast when I used one, until I was about 17, maybe longer.

My psychologist usually tells me that I have an extremely vivid imagination, which normally is nice, like when I'm on a boat, I imagine a lot of gremlins partying pirate-style. The gremlins are happy and nice, cheering and climbing around on the boat. I'm 26 and never bored, although I don't always explain these things when people ask for the reason why I'm never bored...I still think I'm pretty normal.

i can recall seeing a house with a sign "To Let" in the window and being very puzzled that it was a 'Toilet', but it took me years until i was about eight to figure it out. I still see the wrong idea on occasions today.

I used to believe…

In first grade I would always be afraid to flush the toilet because I thought that was how robbers got in to your house because one time my friend had said someone broke into her house after she'd used the bathroom.

I used to believe…

In kindergarten I was afraid to go wtith the door shut because I thought I would be locked in and sucked down the toilet to the world of Poo.

I used to believe…

When I was very little I watched an episode of those funny video shows where they pulled a snake out of a toilet... this combined with my belief that all of the plumbing in the house and city and world was connected led me to believe that at any time, most likely when you're sitting on it, a snake or alligator of some sort could come up out of the toilet and bite your butt. And to think I made fun of my brother for thinking he'd get sucked down the drain in the tub.

I used to believe that if I went to the bathroom in the middle of the night, everyone in my house would get mad at me for flushing the toilet for the minor noises it made.

I used to think that whenever you used the toilet, everything that was flushed went into the tank and I wondered how it could hold so much and why it didn't smell.

I used 2 believe that every time i went to my grandads house if I used the toilet there was evil monkeys that followed me upstairs through the water pipes and if i flushed the toilet they would jump up and bite my bum!
IF my mum realise i hadnt flushed it she used to shut at me, so i flushed it and ran down stairs so fast!

I used to believe…

when i was little i used to believe that little monsters lived in the toilet and when i was peeing and pooping that was me feeding them .

I used to believe…

When i was in about 3rd grade, i never washed my hands because i was afraid that the water would soak through my hands and go into my body and make me have to "go" again.

I used to believe that, when I went to the bathroom, once I flushed, a monster would come in to being. So, for at least two years, every time I went to the bathroom, I'd flush and sprint out of the bathroom and down any halls I had to until I reached my destination. If I was in my house, I'd flush and run as fast as a could to my room and jump into my bed, where I was safe.

I used to believe…

When I was REALLY young and I went to the bathroom I would get lonely so I made up this little man named Mr. Pipes who lived inside the toilet paper holder. Every time I went to the bathroom I knocked on his "door" and while I was going to the bathroom he would keep me company. I used to think he looked like George Carlin!!! Mr. Pipes was so popular in my family, that when my little sister was born she would talk to himtoo LOL!!!!!!!!!

I used to believe…

When I was little I used to think that Bill Clinton (president at the time) was going to flush an alligator down the toilet and it would come up my toilet and bite me on the butt when I went to the bathroom. I was always afraid to sit all the way on the toilet and always kept checking to make sure no alligators were there.
