I used to believe…

Because the toilet made an horrific noise, and partly due to Look Who's Talking Too, i thought that if I stayed in the toilet when I flushed it, I would be eaten alive, so I washed my hands then pulled the chain and ran!

I used to believe that if I flushed the toilet and didn't get out of the bathroom until after the toilet stopped, a devil would come out of it and get me! I thought devils lived in there and that they'd come out if I flushed it. Don't ask me how I thought that, I stil don't know!

a couple of years ago i had a strange imagination.
I used to think that when i flush my toilet 3 times in a row, some evil toilet demon would come out and dominate my bathroom xD

I USE TO BELIVE THAT IF U WERE SITTING ON THE TOILET AND YOU FLUSHED THAT U WOULD GO DOWN THE TOILET AND TURN INTO A LITTLE FISH AND SOMEONE WOULD GO FISHING AND THAEY WOULD CATCH YOU AND EAT UYOU FOR DINNER.

Anyone ever see the film alligator? when I saw the dad flush the baby alligator down the toilet that freaked me out I had to squat on the toilet seat after that cos I was afraid it would come out and get me

I used to be terrified of snakes. I thought they lived in the plumbing and would come out when you flushed the toilet, so I would zip up and wash my hands first, and then flush the toilet and run out of the room and slam the door so they couldn't get to me.

When I was little I used to have a big fear of demons. So I started to believe that if you flushed the toilet while still sitting on it you would be sucked into hell and demons would spread poop all over you. I had a similar belief about the bath tub drains.

When i was about 7 i first went on plane and i got told to watch out for the toilets because they are loud and they suck you in if you stand to close to then so now 7 years later i still press the button and run as fast as i can and shut the door behind me just incase : )

At my elementary school, my bus would always arrive after this other one, and we'd have to wait a few minutes while the kids in the one in front of us got off. Anyway, this one kid got to get off early, and when we asked the bus driver why, he said "He has to use the rest room." I had never heard it referred to as that before, so I thought he was tired and going to a room in which you actually rest, or take a nap. I had never been told about this room and was jealous.

at the age of about 4 i watch Arachnophobia and seen the part where a huge spider clibed out of the loo and biten the mans bottom and killed him, me being 4 was terrifeid and cheaked the loo before i went. needeless to say i am now very frightned of spiders

I believed there was something in the toilet, but it could only come up when you flushed, so I came up with a strategy for not letting it out. After you finish going potty, you had to flush the toilet, slam the lid, hit the lights, close the door, and run down the hallway to the kitchen, all while holding your breath. There you could safely wash your hands with out the moster getting you.

When I was little I had this fear of snakes living in the sewer. So I thought they could swim up into the toilet and bite you while you were sitting on it. So I always squatted above the toilet. I would never directly sit on the toilet seat.

when i was younger i used to think that before you went to bed you had to put the toilet seat down other wise ghosts would come up out of the toilet and take you down the toilet with the them to live in the sewer and i still put the toilet seat down before i go tobed and im 23

I always used to think when i was younger that if I flushed the toilet in the middle of the night that everyone would wake up and yell at me.then i learned about carpet stopping sound.But im still scared every time i go in the night in a bathroom that has no form of carpets.

I used to think that there were dragons or ghosts in the toilet who would get me if i wasn't careful. Then when my sister accidentally pulled off our lizard's tail, my dad flushed it down the toilet, so I never used that toilet because i believed it might come out of the drain, attach itself to my flesh and drain the life out of me.

i used to believe that if u didnt have any toilet paper your supposed to go to your neighbors house and wipe with your hand.
