toilets: fear of

As a child I believed that there was a witch who lived in the toilet bowl, and if I sat on it she would poke me in the butt with a needle. It can be terrible to be so gullible and the youngest of four children.

I used to believe…

every time i fush the toilet i back because some times i think it mite over flow and get every were.

i was told that the toilet flush in the airplanes will suck your intestines straight out from your butt if you flush it while sitting on it. because of that i never went to the toilet on the airplane till i found out it wasn't true. thanks mum.

I used to belive that there was a alligator in the toilet and when i went to the bathroom once i went #1 and went so fast and flushed and ran out of the bathroom.But know i know that there nothing there.

I used to believe that if I stayed in the room with the toilet in it (most houses in Australia have their own room for the toilet) while it was flushing and I was in there when it finished I would go down the drain.

Once I had a dream that one of my preschool classmates had a horrible accident and had her head fixed onto a turkey's body. Then she would go in people's toilets and eat them up.
I was so afraid of #2 for about 12 years of my life...

i used to believe that there was a monster in the toilet. scary!

I used to think that whenever I flushed the toilet it turned evil or released a monter or something.
after I'd used the toilet, I'd go unlock the door and open it so I could get out quickly and then I'd stand as far away from the toilet as I could while I quickly flushed it. Then I'd run from the bathroom as fast I could. I carried on with this routine until I was about 10.

I used to think that when i flushed the toilet a monster would come out of the pipes and grab me so after i flushed the toilet i would run like hell out of the bathroom ,convinced that the monster would get me if i didn't.

When I was young, I would come up with stories and then I would wind up scaring myself. The one I remember the most was when I was six, and I came up with the monsters from downunder. They lived in the toilet and when you flused it if the water splashed you then you'd be transported into there world where they would keep you hostage.

When I was old enough to start going to the bathroom on the toilet,I believed that if you sat on the toilet,or anywhere near it,you would get flushed down the toilet.

After seeing 'Look Who's Talking 2' when I was five, I became convinced that all toilets were evil, and especially hated me.
For about two months I wouldn't even go near one without someone with me.

I used to think (when I was really young) that as soon as I flushed the toilet, a monster would come out of it and kill me. So I would always run really fast away from the toilet whenever I flushed it so they couldn't get me!

I used to believe (and still kind of do for some weird reason) (i think i watched something on TV) that there are shrunken people in the toilet that watch you so i always try to be as quick as i can.

a couple of years ago i used to believe that there were two little men who lived in your toilet and they would poke you with sticks when you went to the toilet if they didn't like you.

I was so scared of The Ring, when it came out. My friend was telling me about it. And she said something about a toilet that Samara came out of which was actually the well. For awhile i was scared to use the bathroom...
