after a toilet is flushed it makes a hissing noice and i always ran away because i thought it was jack frost trying to escape from the toilet. (i don't know why i thought it was jack frost though)

I used to believe the toilet would come up to you and try to eat you when he has you tied up to a kitchen sink while barnie played in the backround with Elmo. I had a nightmare about this and after that i didnt flush a toilet for 2 years

when i was little i was scared that a monster would pull me down the toilet so when ever i flushed the toilet i would run out the bathroom door cause i once watched a scary movie about the monster in the sewer pulling people down and eating them

I used to believe that if I didn't get to my bedroom or some other part of the house quickly enough after flushing the toilet, monsters would come and get me...

...course after I discovered they didn't, it was just fun to see how far I could get after flushing the toilet.

When I was young I would always hear the sound that the toilet would make and I thought that it was a monster. So everytime i would flush the toilet i would turn and run. I eventualy grew out of it when my mom explained what it really was.

when I was about 7 I thought that if you left the lid up when you flushed the toliet the loch ness monster could come up and get you...a pretty common idea for a kid, but what makes my tale weirder still (or perhaps not for the media centric adult Ive become) was that I was convinced Id see a World In Action (bit like 60 Minutes if you're American) show all about this so it MUST be true!

I used to be terrified of using the bathroom at night, because I believed that there was a witch lady in the mirror and if you looked at her she would find a way of killing you by morning. Also, if you sit completely on the toilet seat with no air gaps no matter how small you will get sucked down into the toilet and drown.

When I was smaller, I forced my mother to come up to the bathroom with me whenever I needed to go. This was because I was convinced there was a witch living down the toilet.

Also, when I flushed, I felt I had to run from the room very fast or else the water-men would rise out of the toilet and get me.
