But when it warms up it stops . The next one is I like to talk to her while I sit and pretend to drive her . I had the radio in her on and the radio faded and i was like weard ? And i said what happened sweetc ? Soon the song dimond ring and old bar stools by tim mcgraw came on and many time i said i love you to her . I used to believe…

When I was little, I thought that I could open the trunk of a car with my mind. When I went grocery shopping with my dad and he was carrying the bags, I'd just "open" the trunk for him. He would congratulate me, and I would proudly say "Well, I am a witch!" One day my mom showed me the button on the keys that opened the trunk. My little heart was shattered.

When I was a child we lived on a short rural street that didn't connect with any other streets. There was a sign that said ,"not a through street". I thought that meant that they were not finished constructing the street and eventually it would connect with another street.I kept waiting for them to finish the street so it would be "through ".

When I was little I thought that the traffic lights were controlled by people underground. So I looked for doors (sewers) that would lead me down there so i could work there one day. I soon found out the lights are all automatic. D:

My parents drove a stick shift and I noticed them moving it back to first gear at stops. When I was little I thought they were just wiggling the stick around for fun every so often.

I used to believe that the people at the radio station were singing and that's how the music got on there. Needless to say I didn't know much about recordings

When I was younger I used to think that as soon as you got in the drivers seat in a car, you knew exactly where everything in the world was and how to drive there.

I thought that drinking and driving meant taking a drink of anything while operating a vehicle. So imagine my horror when I saw my uncle, who I considered to be the epitome of a good person, accept a bottle of coke from my aunt when he was driving me home one day.

I thought pushing the button at the crosswalk more would make the light change faster- after all, I pushed it a bunch of times and it changed so I had to be right?

I used to love going on planes as a kid so I asked why we don't ride planes more often and my mom told me that it's very expensive. I was her newspaper coupon-clipper so with a solid grasp of money I asked how much I remember she said "$2000". I remember being astounded... to an 8 year old anything bigger than $100 was utterly astronomical.

I'm ashamed to admit that well into my mid-twenties I was under the belief that typical plane tickets costed thousands and thousands of dollars.

I used to believe…

Is aeroplane another word for air plane? Ok, anyway, when I was little, I used to think that the little trails of smoke/steam that the airplanes left were called airplane tracks, and was confused when they faded away.
