random beliefs
When I was 5, I came home from school begging my mum for 20p so I could buy a puppy. Boy was I dissapointed the next day when they were only selling poppies for rememberence day.
When I was little, my mom told me thunder was the sound of the clouds bumping heads. Every time thunder struck, I'd say "Ow, Mommy! Those poor clouds are gonna have migrates!"
As a child and early teenager I always thought the One Way traffic signs were suggestions, like, "here is one way you can go," instead of, "this is the only way traffic is flowing."
I used to believe that clowns and teachers weren't really people. I didn't think they had homes. I didn't think they ate dinner. I didn't think they went to the bathroom.
LIke Johnboy, I used to belive that I was the last surviving human and that everyone else on the planet was an android put there by friendly aliens to keep me company.
I had a lot of pet reptiles when I was a kid. When I got my first really awful sunburn and started peeling, I thought I was just shedding my skin.
I used to believe that jelly came from jellyfish
i used to think there were tiny see through crystals under the carpert and that the shed was a pink fairy palace after dark. (i was a bit of an optimist)
I used to have a big rock that i thought was a triceratops egg, and i believed that if I sat on it long enough it would hatch.
I used to believe that until gravity was invented, people used to just float around!
