Until I was in HIGH SCHOOL I thought that pimentos occured naturally inside of green olives. Embarrassed myself terribly finding out otherwise.
When I was little I was told all children love chocolate. I hated it and lived in real dread for many years that someone would find it out.
I used to think it was the United STEAKS of America and that cows must be really important in the U.S.
I used to be scared of the BBC 2 logo, which was two brown parallel lines in a 2 shape, because I thought they were question marks. I didnt know the question and I didnt know the answer.
When I was a young, only child, and jealous that all my friends had brothers and sisters, my mum told me I did have a brother, but he was a monkey in a zoo.
I believed this until I was about 7!
I used to believe that jelly came from jellyfish
Before I knew about the various internal organs I thought people were just filled with some green slimy stuff called “guts”
My brother, at age 4, used to believe that you could only marry someone you love, and the only girl he loved in the world was me (his sister), so he would have to marry me.
when i was younger i thought that if someone "hurt your feelings" that it hurt in the back of the teeth.....obviously mistaking "feelings" for "fillings"
I believed superheroes got their powers by taking special pills, and if I asked Santa for those pills he would give them to me, too.
