random beliefs
I heard my dad say that he thought the computer had a virus, and that made me worry that everyday objects could get "sick" and therefore spread germs if you tried to use them.
I thought a "cold sore" on your mouth was the same thing as "coleslaw" and so avoided eating it for years.
I believed you could sit on clouds.
At about age 7 I thought one could see the people running around on a map, if one looked hard enough.
I always thought 'virgin' was Marys star sign and could never work out why it was such a big deal
.. the knots in wood would turn into dinosaurs. I was petrified of pine cladding.
I used to believe, that if you lost all of your eyelashes, you wouldn't be able to blink your eyes. This stemmed from learning that fish did not have eyelashes, and do not blink.
i used to belive that the cloud trails left by jets were tunnels to get on a plane for the people who missed their flight.
I used to think that 'hippie' was a religion
I used to believe that when adults sat around talking, they just chose random words to say. I often wondered how they could sit around doing something so boring for so long.
