random beliefs
When I was a kid, the song "I fought the Law" (I'm not sure who sang it) but I went years beliving it was "I fought the log, and the log one." I thought it was about a lumberjack.
I used to believe that plastic surgery was done with plastic knives.
Until I was 12 or 13, I used to believe that if a soccer player got a yellow card or red card, he or she was given that card to take home after the game, just like you take home a medal you win.
When I was *very* young (though it continued to a worrying age) I was convinced that a zebra was a kind of flightless bird.
I wanted a bird so my dad said that if I could pour salt on a birds tail i could keep it. I ran around the yard all day with a salt shaker. No Bird!
I used to believe that "firearms" meant fire extinguishers, things you use to arm yourself against fires. I couldn't understand why fire extinguishers were illegal in some places.
My friends and I used to believe that if you planted a rock, it would grow a rock tree.
When I was younger I used to believe that the darker your skin was, the dark your shadow would be.
I use to believe that all the homes were taken by the road side because every where we move it was a house down a long path.
I used to believe that weather forecastors decided what the weather would be. When they forecasted rain for my area i thought they were delibrately being mean!!!
