Whenever i saw the shows with people crying, i notiuced that womens tears always dried black. It took me a while to understand that it was their mascara and not their actual ears.

When I was younger, I used to believe when movies would show the attention slide, that “no unauthorized reproduction” meant that it was illegal for people to have sex in a movie.
When I was little my dad used to travel to Hong Kong a lot for his job, and for the longest time I thought it was pronounced "Honk Honk" because it was a large city with a lot of traffic.
I used to believe black holes moved quickly through outer space, and if they got too close to Earth, they would wander around on the surface sucking people up.
When I was a kid I hated to go to bed. I was the youngest, and I was convinced that my family would wait for me to go to bed and then they would have a party without me.
when i watched grandstand on a saturday, i used to think that if you came last in the 4th division at the end of the season, you would get releagated to the scottish first division
If i farted in the tub the bubbles would be different shapes.
i used to believe that if i kept my mouth open while sleeping I would swallow either a spider (which you do 7 times a year average) or a small monster looking to inhabit your body.
I used to believe that computer games had "good" and "bad" moods. On Good days they were easier to play and you got more bonuses. On bad days you died alot and did not get free lives etc.
