My mom and I use to go to the Outlet every weekend. We were on our way and went down a one-way road when I saw a sign that said "NO OUTLET". I said "mom, this isn't the right way ,see there's no outlet store".
A childhood belief about road signs

others believed things like this
- I used to believe that the "no outlet" sign on roads was a warning to people driving electric cars.— c
- i used to believe that the no outlet signs meant that noone in that section of the street had electricityAnon
- Up until I was 17 I thought that 'no outlet' signs meant that the steet didn't have any streetlights.— Kelsey
- As a kid, I thought "No Outlet" signs meant the houses past that point didn't have any electrical outlets.— Julie
- I used to believe the "Yield" from the road sign was somebody's name.— julia
- i always thought that a DEAD END sign
