This is one my mother actually believed...way into her forties!!
She thought that airplanes had wire hanging down from them for the telephones they had onboard!!! Needless to say she is slightly nutty my Mam!
A childhood belief about aeroplanes
others believed things like this
- My nephew, at around age three, used to say that airplanes trailing white exhaust were "airplanes on strings".— Mojo!
