when i was young, i had never seen A Nighmare on Elm Street and i didn't know that Freddy Krueger was the villain from that movie, i always just assumed that when people talked about Freddy Krueger they were talking about a keebler elf. i guess i thought this because Krueger and Keebler sound a bit alike, and i think there's a keebler elf named fred or something. anyway, so whenever someone talked about being scared to death of Freddy Krueger, i would laugh at them hysterically because i would always picture them being scared of a keebler elf. i believed this until i was 14 years old, when i went to a wax museum, and there was a wax figure of Freddy Krueger, and it said that he was the nighmare on elm st. villain and all, and then i understood why the other kids would look at me funny or run away whimpering when i laughed at them for being scared of him.
