when i was little after the pledge we would sing My country tis of thee....i thought it went like this:
my country tisofthy (kinda like a name...like timothy or something)
sweet land of liberty of thee icing
land where my father died
land of the childrens pride
from every mountain side
like fritos ring
haha...
A childhood belief about the pledge

others believed things like this
- I used to think that
"The land of make believe"
was
"The land of baked beans."— Baked Bean! - I thought the England was EDGE-land but england was ENG-landAnon
- At one point, i thought that "Where the Sun Don't Shine" and "The Land of The Rising Sun" where the same thing— A. Brone E.
- When I was little, I thought the Indian princess on the Land-O-Lakes butter label was God or Jesus.— Butterflyzz
- I used to believe that Finland was in the end of the world. Fin-land.— Francesco Delvecchio, Roma/Italia
- i used to believe that 'island' was pronounced 'is-land' instead. I know im not alone on that one! :)
