I am absolutely terrified of spiders and tarantulas. In fact, if I see a tarantula on the road I won't run it over or drive over it. I will cross to the other side of the road because I've always been convinced that it would attach itself to the bottom of my car and attack me when I get out. I will not use my own shoe to squash a spider. It may crawl through the bottom and bite my foot. That's why I always use someone else's shoe. I'm not willing to chance an arachnid's wrath.
