In 3rd grade we were given an assignment to write about what we'd do if we'd won $10,000. I had grand plans about traveling the world, owning a fleet of airplanes and cruise ships, living in mansions with servants and never having to work again.
A childhood belief about money

others believed things like this
- My nephew, at around age three, used to say that airplanes trailing white exhaust were "airplanes on strings".— Mojo!
- I used to think that a company had boats all over the world making waves, and airplanes making cloudsAnon
- I thought that cruise control was like autopilot i.e the car would just drive itself if you turned it on— Yqatuba
- I used to believe that the "cruise control" button in cars meant that the car could drive/maneauver itself.— Myriam
- I used to believe that Electricity was chiped overseas in large thick rubber boxes on ships.Anon
- I used to think when I was traveling at night the moon followed me!— Joan Escobar
