I used to belive that if you swallowed a cherry pit, a cherry tree would grow in your belly.
When I was four or five years old, I swallowed a cherry pit and I immediately started panaicking because I imagined this growing in my belly, the branches coming out my nose, my ears, I remember this was a horible image in my mind.
Now, I am not afraid of swallowing pits even if I avoid them
