I used to think when someone was retired, he went straight in retirement home.
It's why, when my grandfather was in retirement, I said in front of all my family : "Oh, you will go to a retirement home !"
All my family heard me and laughed.
I didn't understand why and then they explained to me that retirement and retirement home are different. So my grandfather didn't go to a retirement home and I was relieved.
