That germs came from Germany.
I thought that Polish people were made of nail polish
I used to think China and Japan where the same.
I used to think all asians were smart, and then i realized i'm asian and not smart
I used to believe that American, Mexican, Chinese, Italian, and French were the only languages in the entire world! When my mom told me my last name was none of those nationalities, I was shocked!

One of my classmates in kindergarten told me that Germans were filthy people and that Germany was a place filled with germs and you can get sick if you come in contact with a German. I believed this for a very long time and started to be scared of other people, because they might be german and i didn't want to get sick!
I used to believe that Germans were Nazis and liked Nazi related things. So one time in 2nd grade i drew a picture of her wearing a swastika shirt and showed it to my teacher(who is German). I didn't know why she was so mad when i showed it, i thought that she would like it because she was German. I had no idea that most Germans hate Nazis!

I used to associate certain countries with stereotypes and believed those were true in real life, not just movies. For example, i thought all germans shouted a lot and were obsessed with nazis(like in the war movies), and stuff like that.
I used to believe that to speak spanish, just put "el" in front of every word in an english sentence and it becomes spanish!
