I thought the Pledge of Allegiance was "to the United Steaks of America," and that we were saying it to cows.
A childhood belief about the pledge
others believed things like this

- I used to believe that America was one of the states of the United States.— Limor
- I used to believe all of North America was Canada and South America was USA..— Daria
- When I was little I thought cows married horses, cows were all female and horses were all male. — Sheila
- I used to believe chocolate milk came from brown cows and regular milk came from black and white cowsAnon
