I was always very musical as a kid.
When I heard the song "Easter Parade",
I always thought the lyric was....
"....and you'll thik that you're on the
ROAD TO GRAV- YURE..."
Wherever that was.... like on
THE ROAD TO MORROCCO
THE ROAD TO UTOPIA
THE ROAD TO GRAV-YURE
(instead of rotogravure- whatever that means)
A childhood belief about misheard lyrics

others believed things like this
- i always thought that a DEAD END sign
as where they put all the road kill.
— pav - I thought when a road sight said Dead End that someone had actually died there.Anon
- I thought you were supposed to drive down the center of the road.— Cassiopeia
- I used to see "End Road Work" signs, and thought they were a sort of protest.— Sebastian
- I thought a highwayman was just someone who helps pave the road and stuff like that— Nate
- I used to believe the "Yield" from the road sign was somebody's name.— julia
