when i was younger i thought that the line in the Hail Mary prayer that says 'blessed are thou amongst women' was actually 'blessed are those who are swimming'. makes sense, right?!
A childhood belief about prayers

others believed things like this
- In the Hail Mary prayer, I used to say 'Bless a dark fowl among women' rather than 'blessed art though'Anon
- "Our father, who art in heaven. Howard be thy name."
I still say "Thank You Howard" when I feel blessed.— cathy - My brother used to say, "Hail Mary, Full of Grapes..."Anon
- "Hail Mary, full of grapes, the lord is a tree"— reenie
- "Hail Mary full of grapes" And "The Fruit Of The Loom, Jesus."— Silly Little Girl
- I thought the lines in the sky left behind by airplanes were "sky scrapers". Makes sense.Anon
