I used to believe that if you were to shine a flashlight up in the sky you could make the planes crash. I have a feeling some adult told me that so I would keep the flashlight pointed down. I believed it until I was about 22 when my boyfriend was on a camping trip with my family. I freaked out when he shined a flashlight up in the sky. I got laughed at by the entire family and still to this day they make fun of me. My boyfriend (now husband) will never let me forget it.
