When Christmas came around my family always went to the Carols by Candlelight. My sister when she was eight always used to sing the line from Silent Night "round yon virnigen, mother and child" - we still remind here every year and she still hasn't lived it down as she used to sing at the top of her lungs!
A childhood belief about hymns

others believed things like this
- Did anyone else sing "Hark, the hairy angels sing"?— Jill
- My mum said that when I used to sing "noahs arc" at school I would sing "who built the arc, no one, no one"— Clare
- My sister used to sing Kylie's "cheese on my pillow", somehow tears works better.— Tom
- My younger sister used to believe that in everybody's belly button there lived a family of squirrels.— Sophie
- When my son was learning to sing the alphabets it always came this way. i,j,k,elephantpee, q,r,s........
— Tinkle-Wink - I used to sing at the top of my voice "OLD GIRLS JUST WANNA HAVE FUN"— claire
