Up until about a month ago I always thought the line "Would she go down on you in a theatre?" in the song "You Oughta Know" by Alanis Morrisette was "Would she go down on your in a future"
Theatre makes much more sense if you ask me, Thanks Stimey!
A childhood belief about misheard lyrics

others believed things like this
- In childhood, I waited behind the theatre, after the Cinema, hoping to see the artists came out .
— mprnair. - When I was younger, I believed that the Chinese Mann Theatre was built in honour of Bruce Lee.— glenys
- I thought the lines in the sky left behind by airplanes were "sky scrapers". Makes sense.Anon
- When I was child I used to believe the future going to be similar like in the film Back to the future part 2 — Frankie
- I thought a major general is more powerful than just a general (which still kind of makes sense to me)— Demond
- i thought the line "saving my face" from the KT Tunstall song of the same name was "shaving my face"Anon
