As a young child I noticed all around as we drove through town "pedestrian" crossings. At the time we attended a Presbyterian church and I thought they said "Presbyterian" crossings. It made me wonder where the Catholics could cross the street.
A childhood belief about in the street

others believed things like this
- i used to believe that the signs for curvy roads were for snake crossingsAnon
- I thought that the stripes of the zebra crossings was from a squashed zebra— Helen
- As a child I went to a prodestant church, but I used to tell people that I was a pedestrian.— Megan
- when I saw a sign with a deer on it I always thought deer had to cross the street by it. like a cross walk— only me
- I used to believe that monks and nuns married each other and made more Catholics.— Jayme
- when i was a child,i used to believe that Santa claus drove a car and all the presents were in the boot— narration
