Once I was watching Blockbusters and a clue came on, "What T is the name for the limbs of an Octopus", I didn't hesitate in shouting out 'Testicles', my mother found it extremely funny but I was not the wiser, I was only 9 at the time!
A childhood belief about speaking

others believed things like this
- I used to think that 'testicles' was the word for the arms of a squid or an octopus. — Emily
- I used to confuse tentacles and testicles when I was younger. It was funny— Chelsea
- I used to believ Bob Holness (Blockbusters!!!) played sax on Baker Street— Donna "I believe anything" Roidlemaloid
- that pickles were octopus legsAnon
- My uncle convinced me that if you ate octopus, the suckers on the tentacles would suck your tongue out— Minnie
- From the Carpenters hit I always sang "calling octopus of interplanetary craft" instead of "occupants".— Paul
