I used to go to Roman Catholic church services on Sunday mornings with my grandmother. During the echarist (I think?) the priest does his "Take this body..." schpeel and the congregation replies "Thanks Be To God". But my little sound holes heard it wrong, and to this day every time I hear the phrase "Thanks Be To God" I think of what I USED to think they were saying: "Thanks Peter God".
I 100% thought God's name was Peter.
