Chocolate milk comes from brown cows

When I was young my grandmother told me that brown cows make chocolate milk. I believed this for quite a while and now my kids believe it too!!

When I was little, on the weekend during the school year my dad and I were driving past a farm. He said, "Lauren, do you know how we get our chocolate milk?" And I replied "You take milk and add chocolate syrup." "No!" My Dad said. "You just milk a brown cow, and you get Chocolate milk!" Well, In first grade, when I went back to school for the week, the teacher asked us how to make chocolate milk. I told her to milk a brown cow!!!

When I was little and my mom was driving us to my grandpa's house, we would always pass a farm with cows. There were only brown cows. I used to believe that chocolate milk came from all the brown cows. So I would always ask to stop for some chocolate milk.

When I was younger whenever we drove by a farm with brown cows in the fields she would say," look rebecca, chocolate milk cows!" and until i was like 9 i thought only brown cows made brown milk.

my grandfather always told me that white cows give milk, brown cows gave chocolate milk and black cows give ink. I was totally puzzled when I saw fields of brown and white or black and white cows. I never did figure out what they gave.

When I was around five I walked up to my mother and asked her why some cows were white and why some cows were brown. She simply told me that white cows give white milk and brown cows give chocolate milk.I believed it for 6 years!!

The house I lived in when I was younger had a pasture with lots of cows behind it. My grandmother used to tell me that white cows made milky, brown cows made chocolate milk and black cows made coffee. Also, if the cow was like black and white that meant he made coffee with milk.

My dad was from the country. So when we went back on some trips I thought all the cows were great. He would tell me that the brown cows gave chocolate milk! I asked what about the brown & white cows. A: The side with the most brown was the chocolate milk side. I believed this for years.

When I was younger, I thought Chocolate milk came from brown cows. And White milk came from the white cows. I was always told i was wrong. Well, there's a commercial on TV that says chocolate milk comes rom brown cows! so all these years thinking i was wrong.. HAHA i proved everybody that i was right!
