If you swallow a seed a plant will grow inside you.

My mum used to tell me that if I accidentally swallowed an apple pip or cherry stone, that a tree would grow out of my ears. Only a couple of years ago, I realised why I got a horrible feeling of dread whenever I ate a pip!!

when i was around 4 yrs old, my mom convinced me that if i eat the fruit's seed, i can grow that fruit's tree on my head. once i've aten one of the orange's seed n i was really scared the 'growing' tree on my head.so then i cried so loud told my mom to take me to the doctor n have an operation but she doesnt want. she said it will be good if i can grow the orange tree on my head so she wont have to spend her money buying orange. it was really scary. i've always believed her until i was about 12 yrs old. stupid huh..

When i was younger, i used to think that if i ate the seeds from inside a tomato, that they would grow a tomato tree inside my stomach so i never used to eat them, my mum had to pick all the seeds out for me.

when I was 5, my brother told me that if I swallowed the seeds of any friut I ate - like watermelon or guava seeds, a tree would start growing in my tummy and come out through the top of my head. I picked out every seed in every fruit I ate ... for years. In the meantime, my brother was happily gobbling up more fruit cause I was taking so long over each slice I ate!

When i was little, i used to believed that: When i ate a pips, i realy thank a tree growing up in my stomach. So, a day, i ate by accident a pips of apple and i'm so scared!
I had to ask at my parents to go in hospital but they say it's not serious.
I avoided to drink some water for the tree not going up in my stomach and i hed the impression to feel the leafs!
Again today, I think it's really stupid and i eat the pips beacuse it's delicious!

I must have been about three when my grandad used to tell me that if I ate the apple core and pips I'd have an apple tree grow out of my stoumach, and I would poop roots and get stuck in the loo! To this day I still won't eat apple cores but I encourage my daughter to eat it for the nutritional value.

Whenever I ate an orange seed I would cry and cry because I believed that an orange tree would grow out of my mouth from my stomach. I was all the more scared because orange trees have spiky branches. My mum said that if I was a good boy, the seed would die, needless to say, I was at my best behaviour until I believed the seed had died.
