Toys come alive at night when you're asleep

I used to believe that when I was asleep that all my toys would come alive and all my clothes would come alive and break out of my cupboard and have a party!

When I went to sleep at night,as a 10 year old, I believed my dolls and stuffed animals would come alive at night and move around silently in my room as I slept. Because when I woke up, my dolly was in a different place than where I placed her the night before. (My mom probably moved her for some reason when she came to check on me before she went to bed.)

When i was little me and my older sister had to share a room(and a bed). So of course if i was awake she was awake. In order to get me to go to sleep at night she told me that when i fell asleep at night all my stuffed animals and toys came to life and had a big party,and that if i fell asleep quickly at night for a whole month straight they would wake me up and i could attend their party. To this day i get a little creept out by the stuffed animals that lay all over my daughters room!

after watching toy story i thought whenever i left my room my toys moved around. so i just closed my door and then i made the tiniest peak possible but i thought mabye they could see me

When I was little, I used to believe that my Barbie's would come to life while I was asleep to plot my death!

i used to belive my toys were real to admit i still do i stay up all night watchin em i pretend to sleep but i can see they dont move i said they were very smart or i wasnt good at pretendin to sleep at the age of 9 i still do its i whisper to em come alive i wont tell it can be our little secret xD

I used to believe that my barbies came alive after I went to sleep. I thought they would get up and have dances and play in my room. I finally got my parent's to buy me a barbie dream house so the dolls would have somewhere cool to hang out.

I used to believe my stuffed animals were alive and could talk at night, so I was very careful never to hurt their feelings or hurt them by dropping them. However, my baby dolls and Barbie dolls were toys - they were not alive.

When I was little, I thought that when you went to sleep your Barbie dolls came alive and used the little props you have(to play with ex. clothes, shoes, food(pretend) ect) and had a big party. I also thought that they had moniters on you so they would know when you were going to wake up. I never caught them partying. What a shame ; )

I use to believe that at night china dolls came alive and killed people with there shoe laces. I couldnt stay at any of my friends house if they had the dolls and I made loads of my friends give there dolls away because i didnt want them to die. I still dont like china dolls to this day.

Until I was about ten years old, I used to beleive that I had to sleep with all of my stuffed animals because, if I didn't, they would come to life and try to attack me. Therefore, if i tucked my covers really tight and slept with all of them they couldn't move. The down side to this was there was barely enough room for me to sleep on the bed myself.

When I was a child I used to believe that, in the night, the pictures in my books came alive and would come out of the books into my bedroom. I was afraid.

when I shared a room with my older sister, she told me if I had to go to sleep early. As my teddies & dolls would come to life at midnight & they would run away if I was still awake. A few years later, to get my younger sister to sleep, I told her the exact story. It worked as she has all her teddies locked away in a cupboard, so they won't run away. Years later she still has them hiding.

I used to believe that the Porcelain and Pierrot dolls, that my aunt kept in her spare bedroom, would come alive when you were asleep at night and try to kill you. They still give me the creeps and I'm not sure I've ever gotten over that one. I've never seen a Chuckie movie and also think there is a definately sinister element to garden gnomes!!! Does anyone share my view?

For a while when I was around five I went through a phase of kicking all my toys off the bed. My Dad, the decent sole that he is told me that my toys came alive at night to play hide and seek while I was asleep and thats why I couldn't find them in the morning he thought it was hilarious when I stayed up one night to see if it really did happen.!!

When I was young I used to believe that at the stroke of midnight all the dolls and stuffed animals in my room would come alive and play amongst themselves. I was impressed that they always went back to "exactly" how they were when I went to sleep.
