I used to believe that when I waved at airplanes in the sky that they could see me and would "wave" back by flashing their lights. As we know, there are lights flashing on planes often but when I was little I thought that the lights meant not only that they could see me but that they were waving at me as well. I didn't even realize that the lights were flashing before I even waved! Silly me!

Once, at night time, I saw the flashing lights from an aeroplane and I thought it was a UFO.

When I was 4 my father used to be a gunner on the large B-52 airplanes. Living on base near the flight strip was loud to say the least. Everytime a B-52 flew overhead, I thought it was going to dump cheese on our house. I STILL have no clue where I got such an insane idea from.

When I was 8 and about to migrate to Australia, I thought that once on the plane, i would be able to open the window and scoop some of the cloud and take it with me after I landed. Also thought the mini-cloud would be able to produce rain.

When I was a child I believed that if I was ever in a plane that was going to crash I could jump out at about five or six feet from the ground and land with only a twisted ankle. I found out later that this thought was obvously flawed but it gave me comfort when I was in planes.

I used to believe that airplane toilets would let your "excrements" fly out into the sky-and fall somewhere on the ground.

When i read the word 'Aeroplanes', i was confused. I thought they were spelled, 'Airplanes', not aeroplanes.

My belief was that aeroplanes are some kind of 'special' airplanes.

I used to believe when flying, once the airplane was above the clouds we were in heaven, and I would look out the window for angels.
