If you swallow a seed a plant will grow inside you.

When I was small, I used to be convinced that if you swallowed the pips in apples, an apple tree would grow in your stomach, and eventually start to sprout out of your ears, nose and mouth, covered in juicy, red apples!

so he ate an orange, swallowed the seeds, swallowed a handful of dirt, drank a glass of water and stood in the yard for a couple of hours with his mouth wide open pointing towards the sun.
it didnt grow.

I used to believe that if you swallowed a seed, it would germinate in your tummy and grow inside your body. If it was a seed of a fruit, then the tree would grow really big aand eventually branches of the tree would come out of your ears.

My dad always told me that if you ate a cherry pit.. it would grow out of your head..
soo he ate a pit..
then later that afternoon.. taped a piece of a cherry branch to his head.. and i thought he had actually grown a cherry tree

Up until I was 15 I thought that eating orange seeds would make an Orange Tree grow up inside your tummy. I got so scared when I accidentally swallowed one that I didn't drink water for days because I didn't want it to "grow."

When I was small, I would eat mud sometimes(ughh!!). On one such day I swallowed a seed of some fruit by mistake and drank water. My mother said that now a tree would grow out of mouth!!! and I really believed her for that for quite sometime.

when i was really really young i accidentally swallowed a orange seed and so i ran to my older sister crying and i asked her what to do and she told me that an orange tree would start growing in my stomach and that freaked me out a lot...lmaoo that one stuck with me for like a year or 2 more and i was so cautious with eating stuff that had seeds in them
