I dreamt that my brother and my mother abandoned me in a bakery..after that I hated to go to the bakers..until I found out that they would never do anything like that

when i was about 5 i used to share a room with my sister and i believed that my dad transformed into a lion and plastered himself to the ceiling either above my bed or by the door and he wouldn't let me leave!

When I was like 5 my parents told me that they picked me up off the side of the road. They also told my sister that they found her in a dumpster. when my cousin asked how he was born my mom told him that his mom found him at a pound he's 6 he was 4 when he asked and he doesnt beleavee it any more

I used to believe that on Valentines day, Jack Valentine used to come to my house and bring me gifts. I soon cottoned on that it was my mum, but i should of guessed really, as when she went out they always used to tell me to go look for him out of the back door instead of the front!!!!!

I used to believe that my family had a party when I went to sleep. I would hate falling asleep thinking they are all out there having fun without me!!

I was awake one night when I heard my parents lecturing my older sister and were telling her that they were going to ground her. I took this as meaning they were going to kill her (I guess maybe putting her underground?) and began sobbing.

I used to believe that if I ever ran away from home I'd have to go naked because my mom told me I had to go the way I came.

When I was little I believed that every family was exactly like mine. They lived with their grandparents who argued every day, the father was robust and the mother was always concerned with making sure the house was clean enough to eat off the floors. The older sibling was mean and bossy and the younger was just kinda' thrown in to watch it all happen.

I met a girl who was adopted, and she knew about it, and she was an only child to her adopted parents. The adopted parents gave her own room (of course) with a canopy bed, and so many toys, and even a child-size playhouse in the back yard. I wanted to be adopted too. Because of her naturally curly hair, I thought she was Shirley Temple.

My parents are horror film freaks and exposed me to horror films way too early. I truly believed that all of my dolls came alive at night, and one in particular was evil. Everynight as I slept with my teddy- I would walk around the room and tell each and every one of my dolls that i loved them verrrrry much and would kiss them goodnight before turning them around so that they wouldn't try to kill teddy. After a while the evil doll really did start to move. I would memorize exactly where I left it-- and it was never the same when I returned. I finally asked my mother to burn the ugly doll and she agreed to do so.... My senior year of high school I walked in to my room to find that doll on my bed. I literally peed my pants and didn't talk to my mother for a week.

I used to believe that if you wanted children of your own, you'd automatically get one. =]

Because my mum can't swim or drive, I believed that all women couldn't swim or drive.

i asked my mom what happened to Babi's mom and she always told me she went shopping... i was so scared when ever my mom went shopping without me!

One time my mom was watching a baby that used cloth diapers and, being like 4, I swear she took off like 20 layers of clothing to access his mess!

When i was young , i used to believe my dad is name was dad and my mom is name was mom etc... and that for all my family
I believe that because my brother and i called my family like that all the time
I learnt it's was false When in a family dinner my dad called my aunt by hes real name !

My mom told me when I was like seven that I was adopted, I cried and cried,and I believed her, then a few years later, i said,"how can I be adopted if i look just like you!" To this day they make fun of me.
