I used to believe that there were ghosts in my home
Because I believed that my childhood home was haunted, I would never sleep alone... So I slept in my mom's bed until we moved out.
When I believed that if I sleep with my feet out of my bed a bad ghost would take me away.
Me and my sister used to believe that there was a scary ghost thing called Darkrai that would eat us in our sleep if we didn't want to brush our teeth, eat our vegetables, or anything else that my parents wanted us to do. We would wake up our parents in the middle of the night because we were afraid that Darkrai was in our room and going to eat us.
But when my parents were so frustrated that they had to get up every night to our room to make sure there's no Darkrai in our closet, they told us that the whole Darkrai thing was all fake and they made it up just to get us to do stuff we didn't want to do. That's when we learned that Darkrai was fake and my parents were lying all along!
When I was a child I used to believe that there were ghosts or spirits in my bedroom because when I went to bed and couldn't sleep I used to hear some breathing close to me. I could feel it was sitting on my bed too, but when I turned on the lights there wasn't anybody. Other times I used to cover my head with the bed clothes and tried to fall asleep quickly. I remember it was a horrible situation.
Never step on a grave or their ghost will haunt you
I used to believe that over the houses of my city (in the South-Italy) and near my city, was living a kind of goblins who used to make jokes (sometimes very bad jokes). This because in my city there was (and there is) a legend of these goblins who were called "municeddhri".
I actually believe on ghosts because at my house i used to hear whispers but un another language and i have hear a baby crying at my house when i was with my neighbors and nobody was at my house.
When I was a child, I used to believe if I disobey, at night a phantom would come if I was without a blanket to pull my feet.
when I was a kid I believed if I behaved bad, I would be incorporated by a spirit.
When I was a child I used to belive that when i shivered me a spirit was hugging me.
When I was a child I used to belive that one monster exist in my wardrobe.
When I was a child I used to belive that the cartoons exist in one planet different.
I believed that English was the first language. All the other languages were just english words mixed up.
So I spent so much time thinking "So...black is Schwarz In german? Lemme see...there is a C...."
I got so confused.
When I was in 2nd grade, I used to have a bunch of imaginary ghost friends. Me and a couple of my real friends would always play with them together. Their names were Cameron, Nate, and Molly. I know it sounds creepy, but sometimes I would let them take over my body so they could talk to other people. All of them were very friendly, and although I think I knew they weren't real, I loved them anyways. They disappeared for a few years, but then in 5th grade they were back--but Molly was gone, replaced instead by Amy. I remember Cameron having a crush on me :P I still see them sometimes now, but rarely. They helped me to mAke more than just one real friend.
At the age of 6, i was told to take the rubbish out in the bin at night time. i was very scared because i was told that there was a boogeyman outside waiting for me. i used too chuck the rubbish next to the bin.
About death I used to have some strange thoughts. For example, when I was about 4 or 5 years old I used to believe that the moment I hear the announcement of people who died, they would disappear forever. That is why I used to pray for God to make them alive again because I had pity for crying people after their lost. I also used to believe that when you step on a tomb, the corpse draw you inside it. Moreover, I would afraid of cemeteries a lot. Especially in the darkness I wouldn't dare to pass by the place where there is a cemetery.
when i was 7 years old we had two floored house so when i was alone at the second floor i believed i must rush up the stairs quickly if i ever stop i would be paralyzed on the stairs and the girl with white dress and long hair (imaginary gir ghost) would get me i believe that now too
So I have these porcelain dolls that are always passed to the oldest daughter. When I was younger I always thought that they would come and kill me. These dolls had eyes that could blink and they were as tall as a normal 5-6 year old. That's what really creeped me out. When I would go to sleep I had to make sure all the doors in my bedroom were shut and all the lights in my room were on. Sometimes I would stay up really late and watch for a door to open. Sometimes floors would creek and the doors would be cracked open even though they we're enclosed before bed. Sometimes even the windows would be open the next morning. I also believed that if I didn't treat all my dolls with respect that they would kill me in my sleep. I would kiss and hug them all before I went to bed. In the mornings I would try and share my breakfast with them. I would try to feed them real food. I would tuck them in at night and treat them like a human being. I felt like if I didn't treat them right they would hurt me or attack me in my sleep. I'm 12 now and sometimes I still am paranoid but then again I do have ocd and anxiety so that might something to do with it.
i been always terrified of BM(bloody marry)
when i was a little girl i always was interested in her i always read her stories.... even i know that the lights on but im still scared of her , now i cant go to the bathroom for 2 miniutes and if i do i always cover the mirror.
When I was 4, i accidentally saw like 5 minutes of "Ghostbusters" and it was the scene where Dana is sitting in armchair and is attacked by some hands coming out of the chair.
For next 2 years i believed there could be monsters inside an armchair which could attack you if you were alone in the room.
I am an adult now and I am still nervous when watching Ghostbusters.
My grandma told me that midnight was when ghosts and demons come out to take away children that aren't asleep yet. I completely believed her and instead of making me go to sleep it kept me up (for many years) because I was scared of the ghosts and demons.
